Christmas'2010

Miera had invited us to go the church for her daughter's christening. By the time we reach there, the services is on-going and we will see there is a huge crowd in the church. To avoid disturbing the services, so we stood at the side and wait for the service end. Later we found out from the office, the christening will only be taken place when the services ended.

The christening was taken place immediately after the service. I was come to know about the christening process. For a baby's christening, they require the baby have their godparents as this part of the christening process. This is a good experience for me.

Afte christening ended, we headed to Miera's grandmum's house for a lunch. Here are the pics taken.

Christmas Eve '2010

Part 1: Christmas Eve's lunch

As usual, we will normally celebrate Christmas in the office. Normally before the Christmas eve, we will be drawing lots in the office so that we will know who should we buy the gift. The person who received the gift will not know the gift is from which person.

After finished exchange our gifts, we headed to the Tanglin Club for our Christmas lunch. This club is quite strict in the dressing. No people will be allow to enter the club if you are not in formal dressing. Some of colleagues were unable to enter as they are wearing jeans. Fortunately, after my boss explain to the manager then only they allow them to enter.

Part 2: Christmas Eve Dinner

After finished our lunch, all of us walked together to Orchard. May and I were walking together to do some shopping as we thought that the mega sales has begin. Unfortunately, only a few stalls were having sales so we did not buy anything on that day itself. After shopping session, she has left early for the day as she will be having a dinner that night and tiring also. After that separated with May, I waited weng in Orchard and had our dinner together. Most of the restaurant were crowded hence, we had chosen this restaurant which is lesser people.

Dayout with Pei San + Brother & Family

Chapter 1:

Is been a long long since I last met with Pei San, hence decided to ask her out for shopping. After so many times of our dating being postponed, finally we were able to meet. We met at Bugis and had our lunch together. Here are the pics that we took at that time..

Chapter 2:

After meeting with Pei San, weng and I headed to VivoCity to meet with my brother. He said he wanted to treat me for belated burfday dinner.

We went to this restaurant namely Brotzeit, a German restaurant located at level 1 of VivoCity. We ordered the special of the day, a platter filled with Pork Knuckle and german sausages ( my favourite). This is not my first time taken german food. If Im not wrong, my first experience was when I'm on my europe trip where we stopped by Germany and tasted the locally pork knuckle and german sausages, the 2nd time was a treat from hormei's dad which was taken in The Curve. The food in this restaurant is nice and lot of people queuing there. Luckily we are slightly early for the queue otherwise, we gotta wait for it!

After our dinner, we walked towards the next door for our dessert. This is a dessert shop whereby all the dessert which they served are in chocolate.. my favourite! We ordered chocolate foundue and one caramel dessert (can't remember the name). The dessert is nice, unfortunately we are too full after our sinful dinner, hence, our stomach cant fit in too much food so we didn't order much... Anyway, I'm highlightly recommended this cafe, guys can have a try!

By the way, I need to mention something here, my nephew is sooo adorable, cute and naughty. There is a time I was trying to play with him, I stood up and trying to touch him, my body touched on the fork and spoon where it almost dropped on the floor, this naughty boy was laughing loudly and looked at him.... I was like "sweat".. Just like sis said, Im always bully by the little one...

Linzie & Yik Chun's visit

Few days ago, I received an invitation to an event in facebook from Yik Chun, then only I realised that he and Linzie will be coming to Singapore for few days holiday. They asked those who are in Singapore to that gathering. He had mentioned something which I felt that is was quite truth. "Eventough many of us are staying in Singapore, but we never meet up with each other, trust this visit could gather all of us together".

Finally we met up at 313 Somerset on last Friday. Linz brought us go over to meet with Chun & Feng who have already there to look for spaces. This place is located across 313 somerset. As you walked along the streer, you will find lots of bars there. The structure of the bar are in old style which made you remember of those bars where we used to go always in Liverpool.
