Kar Poh's visit - Day 1

Weng and I have been asking Pou to pay us a visit as we have enough space to accomodate her. Finally, she has come here..We met up with her in the evening time and we brought her out for a nice dinner and walk around in Marina.. ( as usual place we always came) to view the night view. First of all we brought her for dinner at Waruku located in Marina Square, later we walked to Explanade and have our second round of "dinner". She kept on saying that she wants to diet and yet we still ordered lots of food for her.. =p. Later, we walked from Explanade to Merlion... such a long distance. By the time we reached home is almost 12:30am. Can you imagine how exhausted we are? Here you go with the pics we took yesterday....

Kar Poh's Convocations + Gathering with old buddies

It was a tiring and exhausted weekend for me..We went back to KL for pou's convocations which held on Sunday morning in MCA Building in town . I was quite looking forward for this trip back KL as it has been a long long time since my last trip. I miss both my niece and nephew so muchieeee....I like the way they running towards me and hugged me tightly and calling me "YIYI" =)

I went out with Ms Har and Ms Bo on Saturday.. Its been a long long time have not met them. Miss them so muchies..both of looks slimmer and slimmer and I got fatter and fatter, what a shameful. =p. Both of them brought me to Jaya One on one nice cafe for a drink. As usual, gals chat are non-stop...three of us hang until 11+ then only we left that place. Its been a long time I did not touch alchohol and thus, after 2 bottles of the beer, I started feel the effect...lol...

I bought one big bouquet of flowers for pou for her convocation. It was the mixtures of pink roses and bai he..I personally love the flowers so much =) Thanks for sis's help! The convocation located in the central of city which was near to KLCC. It was such a sunny day and the place was so crowded where you couldn't even slipped to the hall. I was acted as a camera by helping pou snapped photos. I was sweated after few minutes standing under the sun. Watching those graduates wearing their robe made me recalled back to few years ago of my convocation. Lots of memories appeared in my mind on that moment. It was unbelievable as I have been graduated from uni for 2 years. Anyway really happy for pou for her graduation and being offered a good job. Congrats to her!

Eat Pray Love

I have finally finished my reading on Shopaholic takes Manhattan yesterday and I proceed with my next book, Eat Pray Love which was highly recommended by HM. The movie is going to show up in Singapore in September which acted by Julia Roberts, one of my favourite actress. I guess it will be a nice movie! I gotta finish reading this book before the movie shows up which I believe, I'm able to meet it =)

Wednesday

What a hot and sunny morning..was sweated after returned to change my high heels..(being mumbled by Mr chew for the whole morning for buying such a lousy shoes) =p and warned by him. I guess no way I can get another high heels unless I have obtained approval from him (my personal financial controller).

In the late afternoon, I had gone for a meeting at HEB in Little India with my boss and was granted to go home after the meeting. She dropped me at City Square Mall and I headed to taxi stand and look for a cab. I was talking to this nice gentlemen who offered me to take the cab prior to him and had a chat with him. =)

This is the first time where I reached home before 6pm. Sooo happy, wish that everyday like today..

My New Book --> Shopaholic takes Manhattan

I went for window-shopping yesterday night while waiting for Weng off from his work. I was able to grabbed one skirt from Forever 21 (flower skirt). I love it so much as I have been searching for a long time to look a suitable one.

After 2 hours of shopping, feel so tired and suddenly thought of going to book store to look for fiction books. I walked in to this book store named Harris and I headed to look for Sophie Kinsella's books. Finally I was able to locate her books and it was arranged at the top of the rak. I have picked up this book called Shopoholic takes manhattan. It was about Becky ( the shopaholic)'s career prospects, relationship with Luke and available credit line. I was struggling whether should I purchase this book and will i really read it?

I have walked around and looked for other books and none of the books looks good for me. After being much struggled in the book store, I have decided to bring this book home. Yes! I really bought it and had started reading it yesterday night. Just like what hormei in her blog mentioned that when she read the book, she will be laughing. I think i have the same act with her! This is what we so call ji mui right? =)

Big Surprise

I just realised that I did celebrate her burfday with her without failed since we knew each other. Unfortunately, due to some reasons, I was absent for her burfday celebration. I had a great idea in my mind and thought of sending her a bouquet of flowers and I have started searching and browsing around the web and looked for suitable ones. Finally I have found one and after seeking opinion from Weng, I have ordered one bouquet of flowers with 12 roses ( her all time favourite red roses).

I have told Bo about my idea and with her assitance, I was managed to get her office address ( Bo advised me to deliver the flowers to her office instead). Finally everything has settled and waiting for the day to come. Finally, I have received a call from her yesterday morning. The moment I saw she was calling me, I knew that she realised I'm the "Valentine" who sent her flowers. From her voice, I knew that she was happy on my lovely delivery! However, she still managed to know is me after she had called Bo! lol....

She told me that she suspected someone wants to stalk her, hahaha...yes, there is, Im the person who intends to stalk her! lol...I felt that sending flowers to your love ones, is such a wonderful thing, especially the moment you see their happiness smiling appear on their face. I'm not whether guys are thinking of the same way however, I think there are exception (WENG). =(

Weekends!

As usual, weekends should not stayed at home! Weng, KN and I went for a great dinner spent by Weng in Bugis Junction, Fish & Co. We have ordered one seafood platter, fish and chips and salmon rice for sharing! This is my first time trying the food in this restaurant! Everytime passing through the shop, definately will see a long queue outside the restaurant, finally I have the chance to taste the food. Here are the foods that we have ordered.

After our dinner, we went for our movie session at Shaw Centre for Sorcerer's Apprentice. The movie was about a sorcerer was trying to defend the city from his arch-nemesis and he was looking for the suitable person to help him to accomplish this mission!

How greedy and big eater we are. We ordered such a big buckle of popcorn right after our dinner!
