My Burfday!!

After waiting for such a long time, my special day has come....yeah!! its my burfday...as usual every year I will be always looking for my burfday and kept asking weng what present he is going to give me. Usually he would request me to inform him the present in my wish list to ensure that he would not choose a wrong present. Early of the year I have mentioned that I love bracelet from Tifanny however the price is too high and is not worth to spend on it hence I told him to choose a present for me without me knowing.. He agreed.

Finally the day has come... initially we had decided to celebrate on my actual which fell on Tuesday..to avoid any delay on that day, we have decided to celebrate on the day of my arrival to Spore which is Saturday..last minute we decided to have our dinner at Augus Steakhouse which I have wanted for a long time

It was a 3 course meal dinner.. Here are the food.... they were yummy and tempting.

After we have finished our dinner, Weng shown me a video while I was admiring the video and towards the end, it shown "Will you marry me?" I was surprised and thought that he was fooling me again... I stopped him from doing that and he insisted that he is truthful and presented the ring to me...I was surprised and for that moment I was unable to react. I told him that we are to discuss when we reached home.

He spoke to me again when we reached home and this time he bent down his knee in front of me and ask me again... finally... i said yes.. and I can't imagine that I'm going to be Mrs Chew.... =p sounds funny right....lol....Anyway, I guess this is the memorable burfday I ever had in my life time.... =)

Sis had pakat with him and had requested him to choose a burfday present on behalf of him..Here it is...

Here are the highlights of my phuket trip

Phuket'11

Have finally come back from my 4D3N's Phuket trip. It was fun but yet very tiring....

As this time Weng was bringing her parents along for this trip, hence, we have chosen a serviced apartment as our accomodation in Phuket. It suits for family trip or a big gang of friends who wish to stay together. This apartment located in Patong, the heart of Phuket and is rather convenient for us. When you walked down the street, a lot of stalls for food, massage and etc were located there...

DAY1

We reached in Phuket airport was approximately 2:30 p.m. of the local (2 hours flight from Spore to Phuket), upon reaching there we took a van back to our serviced apartment. Heard from Pou that usually those drivers will send you to there travel agency there and ask you to choose their package, I wasn't believe that it would happen to us, but it happened. The driver sent us to their travel agency and offered their packages to us. We got no choice but telling them that we have booked our tour in advance to our departure. Finally, they let us go.... We was like gosh...

Finally, we had reached the place where accomodated us for 3 nights.. we were impressed by the appearance of the apartment, it was elegant, nice and classy...me personally never been to such nice apartment so far.... after putting down our luggages and settled down, we walked down the street to look for food and tour packages...Weng and I didn't eat anything since our breakfast.

We walked along the street, there were a lot of restaurant selling seafood, shops selling souvenirs, masage and etc... different variety of shops that you can find there. After certain distance of walking, we had reached the shopping mall...We had chosen Japanese food as our dinner as Pou advised that according to her friend, the food selling in Fuji restaurant (Japanese food) is cheap and worth for a try. After placing our orders and finished our dinner, we gotta walk and search for local tours for our following activities for the next 2 days.

Later, we have selected one of the stalls and chosen our tour packages. One thing, we gotta learn in Phuket is "BARGAIN". You must know how to bargain with the sellers as the prices that they offerred were high. After chosen our packages, we decided to walk home as all of us were tiring including weng's parents. Unfortunately, it was raining heavily, we got no choice but to stop by at massage shop and have some massage... It was my first time trying Thai massage... Awesome!!

DAY 2

We woke up early in morning for our snorkelling activities. The tour guide picked us up from our apartment and after finished picking up the other tourists, they sent us to their head office near to the jetty and wait for the remaining tourists before heading to the jetty to board the speed boat.

We have been worried about the weather forecast which we have checked right before our trip, fortunate that it was not realised =) as all days have been sunny. We were hopping to 2 islands, Coral Island and... which I cant remember the name... =p as Weng's parents were unable to follow us for the snorkelling activities, hence they waited us in one of the beach while we headed to the snorkelling spot.

It was Weng and Xen's first time having their snorkelling, both of them enjoyed much..However, all the coral that we seen has dead hence is not attractive as those that I had seen in Pulau Redang...its uncomparable.

After finished our snorkelling activities, the tour guides sent us back to our apartment and after cleaning ourselves, we head to Fantasea show, one of the famous spot in Phuket. We had our buffet dinner there followed by the show. It was nice and impressive.. =)

DAY 3

As we have booked our tour guide would pick us at 3:30p.m. hence we don't need to wake up early.. we have our own sweet time resting in our comfortable apartment. After woke up, we head to Patong beach, the beach that is near to our apartment. Patong beach is known with its beach and night activities. Usually tourist would choose to stay near to Patong as it is convenient to go anywhere.

We had our lunch and walked around ourselves on those stalls along Patong beach. We were attracted by those shops located along the beaches, they were selling lots of souvenirs and accesories which I was obsessed all the while.. as it was cheap enough, hence I only managed to buy a short pants and some fridge magnet. Thereafter we head back to our apartment and waiting for our next tour.

The tour guide brought us to a place whereby we could have our elephant trekking..It was my first time having elephant trekking and I was so scared as Weng wasn't beside me. He was the lucky one being chosen by the tour guide to sit alone, hence, I sat with Pou...I was sooo scared and hold tightly on the bar beside me. The elephant trekker was made fun wth us along the way....Later, I managed to feed the elephant eat bananas as well.. my firs time !

Later, we were brought to see the famous big buddha located at the hill.. It was spectacular...but there were still renovating work undergoing beneath the big buddha.... after taking some nice pics..we head to the weekend market which we also named it as " Night market"

It was a heaven for me..the things that sold there were cheap!!!!!!!!! After allocating weng's parents to have their dinner, we split our ways and head to shop our stuffs......my all time favourite.... Pou and I each manage to buy 3 clothes, 1 short pants and 1 dress within 40 minutes time....hahahaha..... the total that i need to pay was less than S$30....soo cheap.... I wish I have more time to be there.......

After we reached hotel, Pou needs to buy tumblet for her friends, so weng, sing and me accompanied her to go back Patong beach to buy it.....on my way, I manage to buy 2 scafts for myself which I wish to have it for a long time.... =)

time flies and my 4D3N Trip has finished.....thing to be learn for the trip is to learn to BARGAIN!!!!

Memory

It has been a long long since my last post...have been busy as usual..finally felt that its time to drop by to joint down what had happened recently.

Recently a lot of wedding bells ring heard from my friends however at the same a bad news were heard from fb..one of my classmate in high school has been passed away.. I was shocked and couldn't even describe the feeling at that moment. She was a nice girl and we were used to hang around in school when we were still classmates.. After we had graduated from school, each of us has go to our own path and did not even get in touch with each other.

I was so regret that I did not take my initiative to find her or look for her in fb even knowing that she was far in uk..This incident had given me a thought that life is short and we should appreciate who are still surrounding us...

RIP friend.....

Love

What is being in love? I trust everyone will feel that when you are in "love", you will find it rather shy and nervous and act abnormal when he or she surround you...when you are in love, you will always lookout for he or she..You will feel happy whenever the person that you like acknowledges you.. The acknowledgment could be a mere eye contact, or a nod. You will only able to find her or him in your eyes and ignore what was surrounding you.

Love is something difficult to describe. This feeling may occur could be due to just a glance of the outlook of the person from the photos or words which could change the way you feel about someone. Though most of time could be the influences from your friends where they kept on mentioning and discussing about her or him in front of you. However, a glance through of the outlook of the person could make you have a crush on that person, this is what we meant "love at first sight" and I believe it.

Love is rather difficult in interpreting and it isa mere feeling that you have over the other person. No one else will know more about this feeling than yourself. Hence, a right person appear at the right time, a right decision should be made to avoid regret in future.

Nature Park

A lot of my friends knew that I doesn't like sport or outdoor activities..However, this time Mr Weng had requested me to go with KN and him to this nature park.

I have been staying here more than 2 years and yet I did not know that there was such a nice place.. This link Hort Park, Telok Blangah Hill Park and Mount Faber. We walked til TB Hill Park and returned to Hort Park. The whole distance is 4km to and fro.

Enjoy this walk much, will bring my parents over there one day.

Relationship

Relationship is something that easy to develop but rather difficult to maintain. Recently some of my friends were having such problems and of course, I become their listener and gave my comments.

What they are currently facing was they do not know what are their needs and they just let thier happiness slipped away from their hand. Some of the girls would usually said, "why should I made this move, this should be done by him". I'm disagreed with this statement and felt that it's no harm for a girl to make such a move as you should always remember that your own happiness is something that you should grab and hold it tightly yourself as no one is able to give you a hand on this matter.

I had once told my friend, " the way has been developed, what was left now was how are you going to move on". She nodded and smiled at me. I trust she understand what I was trying to indicate to her. I believe i will soon see a development from them. Lets see how it goes... =)

Ian's 1st Burfday (Round 1)

Time flies... I still remember the day when I was visiting them in the Hospital..Now, he was celebrating his 1st Burfday...

Sou and Bro had invited some of their close friends to celebrate his Burfday in Singapore and the main celebrate will be having in Ipoh...As I'm unable to join them for this celebration, hence, Weng and I decided to go for this in Singapore..

Before going to his party, we have been scratching our head in thinking of what kind of present we should get it for him...Now I realise kid's present is not easy to choose.....Finally we had found him one small car (for kid) where he can voom around his house... =p

Bro's Burfday!

As usual, every year my brother and my burfday, we will gather together and celebrate each of our burfday. This year is the same, we went out for a nice dinner at east coast park at restaurant named Scruffy Murphy's where it serves Irish food...You can find this restaurant at other places... Its a nice restuarant, worth for a try...

This was a special year for us as there was a new member joined us for the burfday celebration.. For daddy, he felt extremely happy for this little baby's accompanion... Anyway, want to mention something here, the dinner was on my treat ! =p

Work and Study

Trust that many people could have same problems like me especially those who are pursuing for their professional studies ie: accountant, auditors, corp secretary.

Pls teach me how are we going to get rid of these and reach a balancing on both areas..... I need a way.....

Royal Wedding

Trust that everybody should be awared of the royal wedding by Prince William and Kate Middleton which was held recently. It was such a grand and yet a lovely wedding even though I wasn't appear in person in the Catheral to sight their wedding.

Marina Raffles

Its weekend again...KN brought us to nice place located near Tuas checkpoint. It was not my first time been to this place. My first time was where I came for a meeting which I don't even have a chance to view the nice scenary of this place.

Marina Raffles is a place where yacht owner keep their yacht. Regulary there were staffs from the club who help them to maintain their yacht. How I wish I have one where I can sail out to the sea./

The main purpose which brought us to this place was to celebrate KN who had successfully passed through his 4th interview and receive a good offer. As it was a sunny day, we were sweat out and did not manage to take more photos while we were there. Here are some photos taken while we were there.
